A geo-environmental engineer who has worked in geo-environmental consultancy and contracting since 1988. Key experience includes:

Project managing large-scale site investigations for highway schemes.

The design of earthworks, including cuttings and embankments, landfill cells and use of reinforced earth steep wall lining system.

The design of foundations of structures for residential and industrial developments, and highway schemes.

The design of retaining walls, including embedded walls.

The investigation of former landfill cells and the design of there remediation.

The investigation and remediation of contaminated land.

Training staff on the Construction Quality Assurance of landfill cells using both mineral and geosynthetic liners.

Site engineer responsible for managing the construction of heavy civil engineering schemes including the remediation of contaminated land, jetty, coastal defence works, river flood protection and buildings.

Design of drainage for waste management facilities and undertaking air quality assessments.
