Preferred specialisations: Contaminated land investigation and remediation.
A candidate who is either chartered or close to chartered in a relevant professional body, with experience of working in either consultancy and/or contracting in one of more of the following fields: environmental, remediation, engineering.

Preferred experience:
The following is an indication of the preferred skills / experience that the successful candidate is likely to have:

Project management of several projects at any one time to ensure completion of project within timescales and budget.
Human health~ and controlled water~ quantitative risk assessment.
A knowledge and understanding of different remediation techniques.
Supervision of siteworks and less-experienced colleagues.
Preparation of factual, technical and interpretative reports.
Health and Safety requirements under the CDM Regulations.
Capable of professional liaison with the Regulatory Authorities.
Good knowledge of current environmental and waste management legislation.
Familiarity with ISO9000 and ISO14000
