Gavin has over 20 years experience in a number of projects providing geotechnical and geo-environmental assessment and advice. Key experience includes:-

Foundation and earthworks design, slope stability, dewatering, tunnelling and design of temporary works for construction projects.

Investigations of soil, groundwater and buildings for routine as well as radiological, explosive, asbestos and biological contamination.

Due diligence and pre-acquisition surveys for commercial, industrial and waste clients.

Environmental and geological hazard assessments.

Project management including liaison with regulatory & statutory authorities, clients and sub-contractors.

Working knowledge of current UK, US and European environmental legislation.

Development and preparation of technical, quality and HSE plans & procedures.

Implementation of Quality Assurance management systems, ISO 9000.
